Our providers offer round-the-clock coverage, seven days a week. After-hours calls should be reserved for emergency needs that cannot wait until the office opens the following day.
To reach the physician on call for urgent after-hours needs, call the regular office phone number, 513.271.5111, and follow the prompts. The physician on call will be paged and will return your call. Please have your pharmacy phone number available for the physician when the call is returned.
Please note that you need to provide a return phone number that does not have or call block. (To disable call block, dial *87; dialing *77 will reactivate the service.) If your home phone line’s call block cannot be disabled, please provide an alternate phone number, such as a cell phone number. This is required to protect the privacy of the physicians’ home phone numbers.
Patients enrolled in the MD Connect Plus Plan have the benefit of direct, 24/7 cell-phone access to their identified physician for urgent medical issues after hours (excluding physician vacations). If the physician on call feels that you require emergency care, it is your responsibility to know which hospital emergency rooms your insurance plan covers. The physician on call will then direct you to the appropriate hospital and facilitate your care by speaking with the emergency room physician on your behalf.
