Certified nurse practitioner Anna Fox joins Lisa Larkin, M.D., and Associates in September 2009. Fox brings more than 10 years of primary care experience, including special interest and expertise in rheumatology and pulmonology, to her new role, in which she will be caring for her own patients and assisting with the care of Dr. Larkin’s patients. She will become certified as a menopause clinician this fall.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing form the College of Mount St. Joseph, Fox earned her master’s in adult health nursing from the University of Cincinnati. She then spent several years with the Cardiology Center of Cincinnati, where she developed both a Coumadin clinic and a heart failure clinic, serving as director of the latter. Most recently, she practiced with the Internists of Fairfield, caring for patients, serving as a hospitalist at Mercy Fairfield Hospital and acting as a preceptor for nurse practitioner candidates at local colleges and universities.
Fox has lectured on a variety of heart disease topics to patients, professionals and seniors in the community. She is a member of the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nursing and the Tristate Area of Advanced Practice Nursing.
