Dr. Sunbal Javaid is a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OBGYN) and CEO of her own company, Mamadoc, which sells pregnancy products to expectant mothers.
Dr. Javaid earned her Bachelor of Arts in neurobiology from Northwestern University prior to earning her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati. She went on to complete her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at UC as well.
While practicing medicine early in her career, Dr. Javaid was inspired by her patients’ and her own experience as a mother to create products to make life easier for women during pregnancy. She shared the idea with Kim Howell, a friend and fellow mother, and Mamadoc was born in 2009.
Dr. Javaid was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and is a dedicated fan of Cleveland sports teams. She enjoys traveling, reading and dancing. She currently lives in West Chester with her husband and three children.
