Dr. Boland, who joined our practice in March 2018, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with many years of experience caring for patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
A native of the Greater Cincinnati area, Dr. Boland received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Mount Saint Joseph, graduating Magna cum Laude, with Alpha Chi and Kappa Gamma Pi Honor Society Memberships. She began her journey in health care as a critical care nurse with The Christ Hospital, but after many years, decided to return to school to pursue a medical degree. In 2003, she graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She then completed her Internal Medicine residency at The Christ Hospital in 2006, serving one of those years as Chief Resident. Since 2006, she has been an inpatient hospitalist at The Christ Hospital and an outpatient primary care physician since 2016.
Dr. Boland believes in a holistic and personalized approach to the health and wellness of her patients. She is expert in the management of critically ill patients, and has more recently developed an interest and expertise in integrative medicine and disease prevention and wellness. She has received certifications in acupuncture, healing touch, myofascial release, and the Graston Technique, an evidence-based form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization used to treat a number of conditions and injuries.
Dr. Boland lives on Cincinnati’s west side, where she enjoys all things outdoors, including gardening, hiking, camping, cycling, yoga and meditation.
